The DSCTV studio is located in the southwest corner of the Lindquist Commons building on the Dover-Sherborn regional schools campus. To visit, make arrangements with Program Director Mike Klein at 508 785-0737 or e-mail him. Best time to reach Mike is between 10 am and 4 pm on weekdays. Because he’s sometimes out of the building in connection with setting up equipment for videotaping events, it’s best to call first. The studio is also used for an hour or two per day by the high school for video production classes.

The DSCTV programs taped in the the DSCTV Studio include Candid Conversations, Spinners and parts of Our Town. The studio features broadcast-quality lighting and audio equipment, along with computers for editing, plus the specialized technology that is needed to transmit our programs from the studio to Comcast headquarters, then redirect them to your TV set at home.

DSCTV covers government meetings held at other sites and a variety of local sports. CloseUp is a news program taped wherever the news is happening. DSCTV also tapes as many special events as we can find volunteers for -- to operate the cameras. They include Memorial Day services, the Dover Library Spelling Bee, Sherborn’s youth baseball parade and many others.

Most programs are aired several times each week. New schedules are posted on this website at least once a week and in most editions of the Dover-Sherborn Press and Dover-Sherborn Hometown Weekly newspapers.

Want to have a community happening videotaped, such as a meeting, a concert or a sporting event? Interested in producing your own television program?

Dover-Sherborn Cable Television can provide you or your organization with the tools and knowledge necessary to put local productions on the air. DSCTV offers free training and equipment. No prior video experience is needed, and all ages are welcome.
